Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the DermIntraOp mobile application (the "App") and its publisher, DermIntraOp ("we," "us," or "our"), handle information. The short version: the App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your information. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Information We Collect

We do not collect any personal information. The App has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting services, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs). The App does not connect to the internet.

Information Stored on Your Device

To make the App work, some information is saved locally on your device only. We never receive it. This includes:

• Your preferences, such as the order of tools on the home screen and the last tab you viewed.
• Recently used tools and the in-progress state of calculators, so you can resume where you left off.
• Defect measurements you choose to save in the Photo Measurement tool, including any optional note you type.
• Room labels, weights, and dose entries you enter in the Intraoperative Tracker, and summaries of completed cases.
• Whether you have accepted the Terms of Use.

If your device is backed up (for example, through iCloud Backup or a computer backup), this locally stored information may be included in that backup according to your own device settings. Those backups are governed by Apple's or your computer provider's terms, not ours.

Camera and Photos

The Photo Measurement tool can use your camera or photo library, but only after you grant permission. Images are processed on your device solely to calculate measurements. The App does not upload images anywhere and does not save photos to its own storage. You can change camera and photo permissions at any time in your device's Settings.

If you tap Share on a measurement result, the App passes only the measurement text to the app or contact you choose through the standard iOS share sheet. What happens next is controlled by the destination you selected.

Do Not Enter Patient Identifiers

The App is not designed to store protected health information (PHI). Do not enter patient names, dates of birth, medical record numbers, or other identifying information into any field, including notes and room labels.

Sharing and Selling

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose information to anyone, because we never receive it. We do not track you across apps or websites.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App collects no personal information from anyone, no information from children is collected.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete all information the App has stored at any time:

• In the App, go to the home screen, tap the info (i) button, then tap Delete All Data and confirm. This permanently erases all saved measurements, tracker data, history, and preferences from your device.
• Alternatively, deleting the App from your device removes all of its locally stored data.

Because we do not hold any of your information, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. If you have questions, contact us using the details below.

Security

Information saved by the App is protected by your device's built-in security, such as your passcode and data encryption. We recommend keeping your device locked with a passcode.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information held about you. Because we do not collect or hold personal information, these requests do not apply to us, but you can view, edit, or delete everything stored by the App directly on your device.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
